After examination from our judges, 17 students earned places for the January Story of the Month contest. There were ties for third in the sports and feature categories. Students were also allowed to submit work from December due to the absence of a contest that month. Issues discussed this month include the the question of language prosecution by police, sex and gender issues, the rising use of adderall by high school students and more.
