13 students from high schools across Kansas placed overall in the November Story of the Month contest and 2 received honorable mention. Most of the awards went to Johnson county schools in the Shawnee and Blue Valley areas while a few others went to schools across Kansas including Lawrence, Washington, and Manhattan.
